Meetings in Ottawa

On April 10th and 11th, CAVCM President, Dr. Sarah Silcox, joined Dr. Ian Sandler of Grey Wolf Animal Health to meet with MPs and Senators in Ottawa. The meetings focused on the importance of needed changes to the Cannabis Regulations to address the veterinary profession and our patients. These changes are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our patients.

While we are gaining the support of numerous MPs and Senators, these issues need to rise on the priority list of Health Canada to ensure that it is addressed now, and not at the 3-yr review in 2021!
